My main distro is Debian. I have accidentally
uninstalled all preloaded packages, including
my network manager.
I want to reinstall my network manager into
my Debian using puppy. I need to change my
root dir in puppy to my Debian dir to install
packages into my Debian - from my puppy/slacko64.
Maybe it’s not the root dir I need to change to.
Maybe it’s the filling system. I’m not sure.
If you are wondering why I don’t use my command
line while booted into Debian, the answer is:
no commands to reinstall from archive or any
pathway is working.
I thought that if I still can’t reinstall
Network manager, I could find a
networking package that is a
“self executable
How to Install .deb files into Debian From Puppy?

In fact you'll only make things more frustrating for anyone who is trying to help you or who is searching the forum with a similar problem. Please stick with your original thread. I'll move it to the Beginners section if you really think that will make a difference.
