Color your Palemoon tabs!

#1 Post by Abdorhman Ayman »

Hi everyone, I found this great Palemoon add-on which gives your tabs different colors, you can't imagine how awesome this is; I used to lost my tabs! this could be a live-saver, I use it along with adblock latitude and I'm good to go :)

Hi, Abdohrman.

Personally, I prefer UBlock Origin; much lighter on resources. Used to use 'Ghostery', until they buggered it right up with the most recent release, so.....I switched to UBlock. There again, I never use PaleMoon (or any FireFox 'clone' for that matter).....I'm a committed, long-term Chrome fan.

I believe there's something similar for Chrome; yeah, here we are:-

.....although this one only colours the tab icon, not the entire tab. Apparently, something like the FireFox extension wouldn't work with the Chrome API's...

I never have that many tabs open that I get lost..! I hear some FireFox users have a couple of hundred open at once; I think the most I've ever stretched to is around 11 or 12.....

I used to use this one for black tabs, in combination with Global Black Background in Firefox 28. Someone told me that white text on black background was bad on your eyes in the dark though, and that a bright background (or turning on the lights) helps (or maybe I read it in an article in a computer magazine somewhere?) and I think they're right so I stopped using them.

Hiya, Sailor.

Not too bad on the eyes at all if you use RedShift (very similar to, though in my humble opinion, better than f.Lux), which alters your screen to a warm, reddish-tinge after sunset. It also helps you sleep better, too!

tabs colorized sucessfully. Plus keyboard colourized too (Yankee army for typing SOS to French friends when British attacks)
A British keyboard is available
RedShift is very nice, really, and surprising. That is how i like my Puppies, with some poetry added by user, better than old times computers with green screens (or blue) provided by our boss.
