kiramm, it would make it so much easier for the forum members to help you if we knew what language you speak

The English translations you post are confusing.

FWIW, the IP address he's posting from is in Uppsala, Sweden, but he's used the Cyrillic alphabet for at least one of his posts and all of his screenshots show English language websites. :?

You know, I'd like HotShot's a whole lot better if it made coffee and chauffeured me around.. :D

I haven't used Slacko 4, but if the window manager that it uses is JWM, you don't need an .sfs, only to add a command in the JWM configuration file. The things to try, from easier to harder, are:

1) Open Menu/Desktop, and see if there's a program called JWM Window Manager Settings. If it is, open it and click the option "Application launch buttons in tray". There are options there to add and modify your bar. You have to fill 3 fields to create a new button. In the case of Showing desktop, here are the 3 options I have in my Slacko 5.5., that maybe you can apply directly too:

Popup: Show Desktop
Icon: mini-desktop.xpm
exec: showdesktop

2) If you don't have that JWM Window Manager Settings program, you can add the command to jwm configuration yourself. Open the file /root/.jwmrc-tray (maybe you want to make a backup of it first just in case),
and add the command:

Code: Select all

<TrayButton popup="Show Desktop" icon="mini-desktop.xpm" border="true">showdesktop</TrayButton>
(Surely there will be other lines with that <TrayButton> tag there, for other elements you currently have in the tray. Place your line depending on where you want the new icon to be among them.)

Save the changes in that file and restart JWM (Menu/shutdown/restart JWM), and you should be good to go.

For other window managers other than JWM, sorry, no idea.

Not a problem, but don't forget the McDonald's coffee incident.

I can only see the IP address you posted from, not the MAC address of the computer or any other information.

I gave the location of the city where the IP address is, in the hope that forum members who are trying to help you would have a better idea what language to use. But the Swedes don't use the Cyrillic alphabet, do they? So you still have me baffled.

Even if I did know the street name I wouldn't have said what it was. Your other questions I'm not sure I understand. One of your posts in another thread you started was in a language that uses the Cyrillic alphabet. I can't find it now, so I assume you edited it.
