In the future UK residents will have their every online move watched and recorded for 12 months. If you like watching naked ladies once a week you can expect someone to use that info against you. 52 counts of "pornography" will sound like a lot. On paper it will not make you look like the model citizen you thought you were.
Why should anyone watch your private interests and record it? Why should your privacy be violated in this manner?
Answer - so that you can be controlled and your freedom taken away.

Of course "security" companies are going to shout about it to try to increase sales - that will in reality just attract extra attention.
I have been a target of government snooping (though it was highly illegal and resulted in sacking). If they wanted to snoop they could (and did).
