Slowing down the mouse pointer

#1 Post by LazY Puppy »

Hi.

Some time ago I'd discovered new UBS mouses are moving the mouse pointer much too quick on the screen - even if just a very short move was done by the mouse.

Using PupX will NOT give options/parameters to slow down the mouse pointer.

So, long ago, I'd edited the file /root/.xset.sh script to fit to my personal needs.

This is the content of my /root/.xset.sh script (the mean parameters is marked in bold):
/root/.xset.sh wrote:xset m 1/10 1 c off r rate 660 25 s off -dpms
RSH

"you only wanted to work your Puppies in German", "you are a separatist in that you want Germany to secede from Europe" (musher0)

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees!

I was having a lot of trouble with my lenovo mouse moving to quickly
in both linux and windows XP .

I was using the mouse driver that comes with windows xp.
In desperation I installed the official lenova mouse driver for windows xp 32 bit
http://support.lenovo.com/ca/en/downloads/ds014888
and my computer is working properly now in both operating systems.
