How to run dialog on inside init script upon booting puppy?

When you say dialog, are you saying about "dialog" program that can show text-based dialogs? Or are you just referring to the ability to get input from end-user?

Barry K has set up puppy to automatically look into the folder
/etc/init.d/ and these scripts will be automatically run at bootup.
This is how drivers can be blacklisted.

I used this method to create a background image from scratch
