Do you have access to Puppy? Then you could widen your methods. Facebook is just a data acquisition and sell personal data scam.

Sorry can not be more helpful Sad

Hi, Lobster. Living in SA (a "developing country") I actually have access to quite a few sites I can access for free (no data charged by my mobile service provider). These include BBC, News24, Gumtree, Wikipedia, WikiHow, Facebook, etc. Mostly the mobile versions. However none of these sites allow for streaming or downloading stuff for free (restricted by agreement between my mobile service provider, freebasic.com and the participating sites, I suppose). This is obviously a moble device service but up until now I have been using opera mini (which does not support media streaming, etc.) running via an emulator on my desktop. However, I've now found a way to "bypass" the system and access these sites with my desktop browser for free. Smile

Ah good news. Cool

I am glad opera mini is working for you. I live in an ex-European backwater. London. The filtration and force feeding of information bubbles is horrendous.

Getting a diversity of information is so useful. Cool
