A more complicated way would be to remove all the junk presently in the iPhone and replace it with the mechanisms from one of the few tablets in which special versions of FatDogArm can run. Warning: You may have to carefully cut off/out some of the structures onto which processing units were placed and then squash the active components together so that they will fit in the iPhone.
The most complicated way would be to carefully study the FatDogArm thread (in order to understand what had to be done to port Puppy --created for a PC-- to the ARM architecture) , learn the electronics and circuitry used in iphones especially including their peculiarities, learn how to woof and build a Puppy from scratch that will permit input from and output to the electronics of the iPhone.
