Tor Bundle

#1 Post by DPUP5520 »

Has anyone got the newest version of the Tor bundle (6.5.2) working on Puppy? Maybe it's cause I've been out of the game for so long but I've fixed the script so it'll run on root but as soon as it boots up it tells me that Tor has quit/crashed unexpectedly and I can't figure out what the issue is.
The issue is happening in Precise as well as Tahr.
If anyone has a solution or knows what's causing this issue I'd greatly appreciate it.

Runs OK for me most of the time. Mainly in Dpup Wheezy but has been tested in some others. My packages install into /root/my-applications but in my own setup I run it from /mnt/home. This shouldn't make any difference though. I modify the script and do chown and a couple of other tweaks. Make sure your system clock is correct.

Ah I forgot about the damn system clock error when it's wrong, that may actually be the problem. I'll give it a run and check out the one in your link too thanks.
