Feedback Requested in July Newsletter

:) Just wanted to respond to your request for feedback on the newsletter. Even though it's been years since I used PuppyLinux, I've always held a special affection not only for the name but the concept and structure of this Linux derivative. Your newsletter has revived this enthusiasm to someday be able to set up a computer dedicated to PuppyLinux. Unfortunately, we in the States are in a very poor and devolving economy; at 76, I know I'll never retire and presently work 42.5 hours every week, plus whatever overtime is allowed. So, your newsletter is a treat, one bright interjection into my life which is sort of like a daydream of hope to one day simply enjoy exploring and discovering Linux in a fresh way. Thanks for your devotion, and so glad you have been able to 'retire'.

@adoptapet, you are still working at 76, that's impressive although I would say unfortunate.

Thanks for your comments. I'm not looking for praise. I'm simply trying to ascertain if the effort is worth it. If nobody is interested then I will stop polluting the ether.

I also welcome suggestions and contributors.

Cheers

I follow every newsletter with enthusiasm! I find information and am reminded of good ideas. Puppy Linux is my favorite Linux distro by far.

@adoptapet ....... hang in there old man. I see what you see.

smokey01,

You know, if something is good and working well, no one is going to say much about it.

DO NOT MISTAKE SILENCE as lack of people enjoying this newsletter!!!!!

I am wondering if maybe every 2 to 3 months is better for a new release.

Probably would help if you had a designated contributor for each section of the newsletter.
Someone that would promise to give a submission for their assigned section.

I have decided I am going to offer a "tips & tricks" for each newsletter.

As do I, smokey01! Although some of the more technical sections can be either "over my head" or beyond my available time/energy to actually toy with, I find it always fascinating, enjoyable and inspiring to read.

Thank you!! :)
