Hi!
I have Puppy 2.02 installed on a HP Compaq nx6125 laptop and I'm having some troubles with my keyboard. I have finnish qwerty keyboard and some of the buttons aren't working at all, or they work wrongly. For example 'alt gr' works as 'enter' and right and left arrow-keys doesn't work at all. How to make Finnish keyboard work? (solved)

First look, if this helps you:
http://www.murga.org/~puppy/viewtopic.php?t=10878
If not:
I think there were reports, that the keyboard-setup depends on the Xserver you use.
If you use Xvesa, you could try Xorg instead.
Choose the xorgwizard in the menu.
Another workaround:
There is an "old" method, to override key-settings.
This method uses a file /root/.Xmodmap with custom definitions for each keycode.
There is a grafical program for it:
http://www.murga.org/~puppy/viewtopic.php?t=4656
That thread also explains, how you can customize .Xmodmap manually, if the supplied keyboard-layouts do not work.
Use this, if switching the Xserver won't help.
The advantage is, that with this method even very exotic keyboards can be used.
