Been looking for answers but maybe I'm not typing the right words.
1. How do you switch the clock on the taskbar from 12hr notation to 24hour notation please?
2. I see that many illustrations of Puppy 1 show the banner to the side of the JWM menu. My Puppy 2 does not have this. Is it turned off? Can it be turned on? If so please where?
Thanks in advance

Point 1
I am interested as well.
I tried via locale and adapted for my country, Belgium, but nada for the 24 hour clock.
In 2.02 I used to work with KDE354mini and there I could configure for the 24 hour clock.
Hoping that a solution is found.

I think the screenshots you are reffering to used FVWM rather than JWM for the taskbar. I don't know if JWM supports a banner.

Thanks pizzas
Maybe someone who knows could please post an answer?
Looks like the 24hour clock option isn't there either.

I've been doing some work with configureing JWM lately and it has very little documentation (probably because it's so simple and thus small and speedy). What I've seen made no mention of one. You can stick a header on the top I think, but I'd be surprised if it had side-banner support.
Maybe if you demand it they'd implement it. I think http://24.254.249.181:443/board/ is the JWM forum.
EDIT: I retract my statement about JWM's documentation. I wasn't looking in the correct place.

To switch the clock display to 24 hour format, you need to edit the .jwmrc-tray file:
Open the file manager at /root
(Just clicking on the home icon does this)
Ensure the show/hide hidden files option is set to show hidden files
Click on .jwmrc-tray
(This will open the file)
Near the bottom of the file, you'll find a <Clock format> command. Change it to:
<Clock format="%H:%M">minixcal</Clock>
Save the file & restart JWM. Or a full reboot, but don't forget to save settings!
