Orcon.net.nz my isp have changed the setup of their mail system so that now if you idenify as local-host you cant connect and send mail, receiving is still fine, and " not many people are affected" only mozilla mail, Mac OS 10.2, outlookexpress ver 5.??.?? and pupp the tech I spoke to thinks that this will become a common setup for other isp's as well. One solution for us is to change etc/hosts to not have the line 127.0.0.1 localhost puppypc mine now has 127.0.0.1 orcon are bastards and it seems to work
Now is this likely to cause me other problems ? What should I set it to and can I delete the other lines 192.168.1.1 pc1 ? that computer is called shagger here. What is a better solution ?Auda
