First you need to have flatpak installed. More and more, Flatpak is in standard repositories.
Next add the Flathub repo (called a ‘remote’) from which you can install apps:
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo (copy and paste this line in terminal)
To install Lollypop music player on Ubuntu as a Flatpak, run:
flatpak install flathub org.gnome.Lollypop
Note : Debian or Ubuntu, it does not matter. Commands are the same.
I have it installed in a Debian Buster installation, and it works well.
It has all you are looking for in a very good music player.
