Available from standard repositories : kwin-x11.

KWin is a window manager for the X Window System and is currently in the process of becoming a Wayland compositor.[3] It is released as part of KDE Plasma 5 for which it is the default window manager. KWin can also be used on its own or with other desktop environments.

I'm using kwin from the PPM on Xenialpup 7.5, plus a bunch of plasma dependencies to get the window cover switcher and the settings manager to work, about 200MB total. I'm using it with XFCE as my desktop environment which is under 50MB... It would be nice to know the minimal dependencies needed to get just the basic WM functions and desktop effects working.
