tried with xenial pup, nothing to do, when booting it doesn't find the OS.

If it worked with another Puppy, it should at least been able to see Xenialpup and try to boot it.

Thank you for the link. Now Electrum is version 3.0.1 and they changed few things. I'll keep the topic as reference since it could be very useful!

For booting Xenialpup.

Still have this setup in bios?
Quote:
1. The secure boot was DISABLED
2. Disabled FAST BOOT
3. Enabled LAUNCH CSM

Now we are back to did you do this to the Xenialpup USB install?

Look on the flash drive for the file syslinux.cfg. If it contains the clause "pmedia=cd" or something else, change it to "pmedia=usbflash".

Ok, so I found out there was also another problem that the other day I didn't notice, there was no "boot" flag.
After I set the boot flag from gparted now, it works.
Still I have to boot in legacy mode and not UEFI. But that's not a big deal.

Now, I have to install electrum 3.0.1 that uses these dependencies:

python3-setuptools
python3-pyqt5
python3-pip
