Subject description: more nosey scripts for tracking

I stumbled across a small discussion on Bloomberg radio this morning about the topic. Curious, I checked into it. This is what I found...

How it works and problems

Who is using it

The second link can be expanded by dropdown spinner to 100 sites. From what I read the top 50,000 alexa rated sites were queried.

This web-tracking is getting very serious, and very careless.

Regards

Wow, didn't see that post last nite.
I spent this morning checking up on it, and posted what I found...

Oh well, late to the party again Razz

*edit* to make this post a bit more useful, open your ad-blocker app and search these keywords

smartlook
userreplay
fullstory
yandex
hotjar
clicktale
sessioncam
quantummetrics
mouseflow
inspectlet
decibelinsight

Of these AdBlock Edge needed these three sites added into the CUSTOM lists as

||clicktale.com^$third-party
||fullstory.com^$third-party
||userreplay.com^$third-party

Your results may vary, but see the format used just above.

Regards
