Dotpup games request

I hope this is the right place to put this...

I'm a fan of turn-based games and I've managed to find a couple that look great to me: Nethack and Freeciv unfortunately I haven't been able to get either working on Puppy (or any other linux distro, works fine on Win98 :? ) I guess I just haven't worked out installing linux apps yet :? The only thing I've sucessfully installed are Dotpups! :D

I'm hoping someone will help me out by making dotpups of Nethack and/or freeciv

Nethack website: http://www.nethack.org/

Freeciv website: http://www.freeciv.org/index.php/Freeciv

I hope I'm not being too cheeky. I'm sure I'm not the only person who would like these games...

Thanks in advance

Chris

Freeciv looks like it would be an easy to make dotpup.

It doesn't want to run as root or as it says 'supervisor'.

What to do?

If anyone knows of, or can find a workaround for this please post.

nethack pup

i'm running Puppy 1.0.3, which seems to have the libqt-mt.so.3 library file ... it's in /usr/lib/qt/lib/ and it's 7.4 megs

there's a gtk version of the game, but it won't run in Puppy 1.0.3 without extra library files ... the qt version doesn't seem to need extra library files ... Puppy doesn't have all the fonts the game is supposed to need, but it seems to run ok anyway, but i haven't tested it thoroughly
