Rimatheou, you have a /etc/ndiswrapper/mn510 directory, right?

I'm uncertain whether it'll help or not, but, move the .cat and .sys files from my Win32 package into this directory.

Now a quick "depmod -a" and see if there's any improvement.

It's a bogus device. This would be a cakewalk with a compatible adapter.

That info's on the Peasy page. What you need is this cost-effective solution.

A USB WIFI Adapter is a possibility. Though I prefer spending time than money. From my point of view I can continue searching for a software solution. But this depends on those who help.

Maybe it's also possible to change the thread's title to "Setting up Puppy on JVC MP-XP7250" or something like that.

I think it might be time to ask Flash to split the thread so that your efforts to get the wifi adapter running are in a thread with a different title.

A different title might bring other suggestions.

I feel matchpoint has got you close. There are still questions:
- is the correct .inf being used?
- is the blacklisting working properly?
- is the adadpter being loaded with a firmware that matches the ndiswrapper .inf?
- is there some confusion caused by Puppy's multiple interface setup methods? (A common issue with some Puppies).

I agree that it is too soon to buy a different adapter. This one works with XP so it has the right magic smoke inside it. Just have to find the right way to light it up.

I did not like the look of line 502 in the dmesg pastebin.
