When checking in at Slackware, I found an update for OpenSSL. A quick read indicated its a "low-level" threat. OK, fine.

At the Security Advisory --> 2017 page are downloads for the solibs and OpenSSL for all of the deprecated versions.

If you are running an older slacko-pup, you might want to D/L an update as chances are it will be a rare event (if ever).

Remember: D/L solibs first then OpenSSL.

I think these versions can all be seen in Slackware Updates Manager too?

Generally, yes, sailor. However, if running one of my spins, notice that the Slackware package update still refers to OpenSSL1.0.1u. I updated that via HoerMirAuf to 1.0.2. So sometimes one needs to go to Uncle Slacky for the updates. BTW, the libXfont did not appear in Slackware updates, but is installed in slacko5.7... again the need for "online" update. Recently, I have found online updates a better source. YRMV
