Anyone have any idea how to control an android bios to allow some control of the boot sequance, like F12 or F2?

And no it doesn't seem to have any interuption capabilities as we have with a windows bios!

On rooted phones, you can boot to a custom recovery and then tell it how you want to boot up or sometimes boot to a command prompt type boot menu. Like all things android, I imagine every phone is different.

Thanks anyway, but this is a graphics tablet and there is no rootkit available. The usual (windows) up/down volume buttons don't work in androids bios, and plugging a usb keybaord doesn't either as it seems not to load the usb driver until the android core is running.

What model of tablet are you using?
