Hello everybody and HAPPY NEW YEAR:
I need to modify my mouse configuration (far away from menu, setup, puppy setup Mouse/Keyboard) BECAUSE...
... its wheel doesn't work the correct way. It works OK with some programs, with slimjet it gives me some incorrect pages scroll, but with google chrome 48 it works when it wants.
First I thought the problem was in the mouse, I bought a new one, it works some time, but I changed my puppy configuration / includes programs and it started to give me faults.
HOW CAN I configure the number of lines the wheel scrolls when I move it?
HOW CAN I adjust its sensitivity?
Where is the file I must change to adjust it to my needs?
THANKS A LOT AND HAPPY NEW YEAR..... again
CHEERS

For Slimjet make sure you have mouse gestures set correctly.

google chrome 48
May be a bug in the version 48.
See this info.

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)

You might get on better with 'Smooth Scroll' from the Chrome store:-
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... nfo-dialog
I've been using this for ages in all my Chromium-based browsers.....and 32-bit Chrome 48 likes it just as well as later, 64-bit versions.
Try these settings to start with:-
...and then experiment with them from there. The first setting, 'Step size', is what controls the 'distance travelled per click' of the mouse wheel. The value in the box is the number of pixels you want the cursor (or page) to scroll by for each click of the wheel.
Make sure the 'Features' section is set as follows:-
Doesn't matter whether you have a laptop or a desktop, you want the touchpad setting enabled.....just works better like that. And for God's sakes, don't enable the 'pulse algorithm', 'cos that simply gives you a 'jerky' output again, which defeats the whole purpose of using this!
Worth a try..... The 'smooth-scroll' feature bigpup linked to didn't come in until Chrome 49 (which was 64-bit only).....but I believe you can enable it in the 'experiments' section of 'chrome://flags'. Again, worth a try.
Mike.
