Among a field crowded with a diverse range of adblockers, uBlock Origin stands out as one of the best available for a number of reasons. First, its memory footprint is not just nill, its negative. This is because of the fact that the memory that is saved by not having to display advertisements is larger than the memory required to run the application.

For websites that you like, you can whitelist them. Ads mean money for content providers.

If Brave will only launch with --no-sandbox, which is not recommended, use firejail : firejail brave --no-sandbox (in terminal). Firejail is sandboxing Brave.

Brave is pretty good, shame its 64-bit only.
Us 32-bitters would also like to try it.
For now a locked down FF27 suffices here.

I see that the broader Brave publicity lays some stress on the fringe benefit of data use saving for those paying for a metered data use deal (like me, and our illustrious PuppyMaster!). Certainly, I've noticed a whacking increase in datagobble when trying different Pups which don't have my usual armoury of blockers installed.
