If you have tons of music files, and in need of a lightweight music player, you can give Sayonara a try. Deb files are available.

Hi labbe5.
Sayonara is a small, clear and fast audio player for Linux written in C++,
supported by the Qt framework. It uses GStreamer as audio backend. (...)
"Small", eh? Nope.
If you consider that you need to add the Qt and GStreamer libraries to your
Puppy to run it.

My 2¢.

Tahrpup and Xenialpup are Qt puppies

Tahrpup and Xenialpup are Qt puppies. PeeBee removed Qt from Artfulpup and add FFmpeg.. He should have kept both ! Sayonara will run easily with Polarpup Qt build by Pemasu. Sayonara is not pretty, it miss some libs. I am wasting my time .. Sayonara ! (means bye bye). Clementine will satisfy most of you, if included media players are no pretty enough for you. MPV is included, Gnome-Mplayer too , in hungarian Puppy stretched.. Biltoo is cooking VLC 3.0.0 Forget Sayonara, or install Saluki, with Saluki all is easy.
