geeqie from ppm artfulppup, but i think it's available everywhere.
There are so many..

What is the computer specs?

Telling us you want something like some program, is not telling us much useful info.

What exactly do you want a program to be able to do?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected :shock:

Slackware versions of geeqie are available via https://pkgs.org/download/geeqie. They don't appear to have many dependencies.

Thanks a lot! Thar was exactly, what I was searching for. No missing dependencies, small and fast. It's Gwenview for Puppy!

I wrote that: Pentium II ...
Have a look into the forum hardware for my name and "feedback thinkpad". It's awful, what this old machine can do today, if one uses the right software.
