Developed by ASI Data Science, the system takes advantage of machine learning to analyze online videos and determine the contents. The government says that it can be integrated into the upload tool of any platform, meaning that videos can be blocked before they even make it online.

The government says that the algorithms can automatically detect "94 percent of Daesh propaganda with 99.995 percent accuracy." Speaking to reporters in London, Rudd said that "we're not going to rule out taking legislative action if we need to do it," opening up the possibility that the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Google could be forced to use the system.

Congratulations everyone! We have just succeeded in creating our first reality bending machine.

This can be used for all kinds of useful purposes. Erdogan can buy one for his country so that nobody will ever hear any dissenting voice or will have to see any gruesome pictures of Kurds being bombed. If a tree falls down in the forest, and nobody is around to see or hear it, has the tree actually fallen?! The answer seems to be no.

The Internet is our Babel Tower, and it is collapsing.

Spot on, souleau. This type of censorship has just made any uprising for a valid
reason next to impossible.

The poor are tired of 99 % of the riches being in the hands of 1 % of the population --
they want to organize and get their message across?

Tough. The 1% now have this message analyzer.
