PostPosted: Thu 15 Feb 2018, 17:31    Post subject:  (Solved) Is anyone getting spotify at the moment

Hello
I have tahr 32 and 64 and also xenial 64 7.5 on a dell vostro 1320, 2.2ghz, 2gb ram. Until recently I could get spotify free but not now. I have tried palemoon, seamonkey, firefox, slimjet and even chrome. Seems even xp has been stopped. Is anyone getting it at the moment and if so how.
Thanks for help.

It goes so far but will not play anything.
If you don't run it in a browser how do you run it? I am interested in your pet would you mind giving me a link.
Thanks

I can run it from chrome in the browser with slacko64 6.3.2. It was having problems with Chrome 46. It would play individual songs but not open albums. Then I got chrome 64 from this link

It should work on tahr 64, but for me it took a little playing with to get working properly. I could try and walk you through that maybe.

From the info you gave, it's hard to determine the real source of your problem though. What version of Chrome did you try? Did it play youtube okay? Where exactly is the problem?

Browser-wise #77, Chrome's the way to go for loading Spotify.

Settings + Advanced + Content + Plugins (Manage exceptions...) and enter [*.]spotify.com for the pattern.

Reload Chrome and test.

I successfully run Mikes`32b, v48 version from here.

Idea With a little effort you can try those two packages Spiritwild linked without installing.

It is going now. I downloaded Mike Walshes sfs file for chrome from your link and spotify works on xenial pup64 7.5 without problems at the moment.
So thanks for your help and all the help so far on this problem.
I will give it a good test and may be back.
Once more thanks everyone.
