Subject description: fighting against ransomware by delivering free decrypting tools to victims

https://www.nomoreransom.org/en/decryption-tools.html

Trend Micro Ransomware Decryptor is designed to decrypt files encrypted by 777 Ransom. Click Download to have your free tool downloaded and installed.

My advice would be to become a Linux user, and have some peace of mind.

Providing root is secure and the system is appropriately configured. I believe Solaris disable root by default, as you can assign userid's to groups so that it steers you towards a tendency to better assign each userid to a particular groupid and what each groupid (and hence user) can do.

Run any external accessing/facing program as root and your defence is reduced to obscurity (popularity invites hackers).
