Darktable image editing PET for Ubuntu XenialPup64 7.4?

#1 Post by puppypilgrim »

Hi, can someone make or show me how to make a PET of Darktable image editing software? The Ubuntu binary compatible packages may be found here:

https://software.opensuse.org/download. ... =darktable

Sorry my skills are not good enough to make PET and the old webpage explaining how to make a PET is broken.

Thank you,

The easiest way is to use an appimage from
https://bintray.com/probono/AppImages/Darktable#files

I run the same xenialpup, darktable in PPM is really an old version (2.0.3, bionicpup64 comes with 2.4, latest stable version is 2.6).

I was able to install 2.2 from Appimage as suggested and works well. Now newer version recognizes my camera-lens!
