How to cast to Fire TV from Chromium in Xenialpup?

Is anyone casting to Fire TV from Chromium using Puppy?
As an enthusiastic new convert to Puppy (Xenialpup 7.5 64bit), I've got it mostly configured to my liking except for one or two things.
I get the"no cast destinations found" warning.
Linux Mint casts right out of the box without any tweaks, as does windows of course. Not being able to do so is not a deal breaker, but it would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Close, but no.
Fire TV is Amazon’s better answer to Google’s chromecast and works differently. An UPNP/DLNA app on the Fire TV acts as a receiver to the casting source of Ios, Android, Windows, Linux etc. You can right click any chrome/chromium page and click the casting option. Thanks.

I don't have any casting devices at all so I am unable to test.
You say yours is different from Chromecast, so this may not apply in your case, but one fix that has been mentioned that works for Chromecast devices is to enable the flag

Look here and follow the posts below:-

Just one thing that is worth checking out.

That looks like a suspiciously correct solution. I am sure that it will work once I get home and make the changes. Thanks a lot for alerting me to the post and video.

Later...

Nope, this does not fix the problem for Fire TV.

Hi fmen,

The ability of Chrome/Chromium to cast is limited to Chromecast dongles only.
I gather that the Fire TV is actually running a proper DLNA renderer as do Smart TVs.

A dedicated DLNA server Pup is available in the link below and should do the job although
there have never been any reports from anyone who has used it with Fire TV or stick and
I do not possess such a device to test it.
