I am now using Devuan (from Devuan itself) and did try to use rox in Devuan as, as an old Puppy user, rox is my prefered file and dir manager...

but...

rox reacts not as I am used on Puppy

I did download for this reason Devuan Pup, and, same thing...

rox reacts not as I am used on Puppy

but I have now a big problem:

I am not accustomed to change the settings in rox as usually works perfectly in about all Puppy's without to change some thing  !

with the search function of that puppy forum I did search and did not find easy a solution

I did find a very interesting short thread in my own mother tongue:

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 97&t=79508

and an other thread concerning the localisation of rox

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 02&t=80597

My problems now in Devuan and in Devuan Pup:

- the most important columns for me are
-- name
-- last modified
-- size

both last column are at the end of the row so that you have to open an extrem bright window for the rox window to see them...

hitting on "Last Modified" to move it to left does not work...

second problem, the font used is to big and makes the window bigger than needing!

third problem: I can not limit the wide size so that it would be possible to place 2 such rox window on the screen to move files and directories!

I find the rox handbook at file:///usr/local/apps/ROX-Filer/Help/Manual.html not really usefull! it is showing extremely wide abilities of rox but doen't not help me, poor not English reading user, to find solutions...

Hi oui,

Yes, I think Tahr/Xenial use a special version where you can move the columns. I remember being able to do this in Slacko after "upgrading" to the one by woodenshoe-wi: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 247#996247
