Hi

I tried configuring the stock email program (claws) that comes with my version of PUPPY. Here is my info first:

The version of puppy I have is: 64-bit XenialPup64 7.5
I am using a USB ISO on 64G Thumb drive. My SAVE FILE is on a separate drive.
I have 8G ram

I tried to configure CLAWS to use my AOL account only to find out AOL is blacklisted. I used to have a VERIZON email account but AOL took over a while back but I still kept my original VERIZON email address. Needless to say I couldnt configure the IMAP / SMTP settings to work.

I next tried using a GMAIL account that I use frequently. No matter what I try I get this:

Authentication failed:
-ERR [AUTH] Web login required: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754

I don't like AOL any more than many people do, but I would like to be able to use that account cause its my main email. I for some reason don't get any spam or junk mail. I've used aol mail since Verizon switched and never had a problem. I use Thunderbird email on my other Linux installation and my AOL email works just fine with NO SPAM.

Any suggestions?
