In a move that is likely to make them lock horns with law enforcement personnel from time to time, the company seeks to seal several loopholes that are currently in use by third parties to unlock the devices of targeted individuals.

It is unfortunate that Apple relies upon Bluetooth and Wifi for connecting various add-ons. Each of these methods transmits (and therefore can be intercepted) signal to/from add-on. Here is a good case for 'wires' that can be disconnected physically- disabling the 'port' in question.

Now if Apple were 'really' serious about security, there would be a mini-ethernet (mini-RJ45) socket right next to that usb charge/transfer soccket.
