Dear contributors,

I am Natnaree Asavaseri and currently undertaking a research internship at Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan. As a part of my research, I am analyzing the impact of Microsoft's acquisition of GitHub.

I would like to conduct a survey to understand how developers perceive the Microsoft's acquisition of GitHub, especially from contributors to Linux distributions and BSD families. So please consider voicing your opinion by allowing us up to 5 minutes to complete our short survey.

We would like to remind you that participation in this survey is completely voluntary and your identity is hidden for anonymity. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Microsoft have made all their money by doing spy deals with govenments worldwide. Why the heck would anyone be naive enough to trust them to do the right thing . They won't so get your code out of Github is my approach.
You don't need a survey for that result

Save your breath. The OP is probably not monitoring this thread. Identical posts were made in a number of Linux forums. I think they're sincere, so I left this one.

One can easily guess what the outcome of this survey is.

Research team should check their report as it seems one of the headings:

"Do you think it would be a good idea to move the project away from GitHub?" seems to appear over two different graphs (Figs 3.1 and 3.2) or maybe I'm missing something in understanding?
