Welcome to the Puppy Forum.
I have no experience of Private Internet Access specifically.
They appear to be a VPN provider.

If you are talking about installing their client this may not be the easiest way of using their service in Puppy. Someone else may know more than me, but I took a quick look at the client and the installer script refused to run as root which is the default user in Puppy. Even if you can get it to install, it still might have missing dependencies or other problems.

If you have subscribed to their (paid for) service then you should be able to obtain the configuration file (or a bundle of them) from PIA. Then it should be fairly easy to use the service. Just install openvpn and run from command line. I can maybe help a bit more on this if you are stuck.

I have a thread talking about some free VPN services which may be interesting. Adapting to other providers should be possible.
