. It’s a tiny antenna array, roughly the size of a penny, that features four antennas that can (with the help of Qualcomm’s algorithms) accurately point toward the nearest 5G tower. It can even bounce signals off of surrounding surfaces. The QTM052 is designed to be small enough that device manufacturers will be able to embed it into the bezel of a phone. Qualcomm’s X50 5G modem is already designed to support up to four of the antenna arrays, one for each side of the phone, allowing for 16 total antennas and ensuring that no matter how you hold your phone, the signal won’t get blocked.

Millimeter wavelength (actually 11mm if 28GHz) for high B/W. But what we get now is typical 4G spectrum (5-6GHz), and acceptable down to the USA standard 900MHz or European 800MHz so that the poor Telco's can still use their already purchased B/W. No tears please.

The ironic part unmentioned is the move of IoT to 3G. That would also include a simple wi-fi telephone (voice/text), burgalar alarms, home OS's, etc. that comsume tiny B/W. The lowest spectrum 800/900MHz would be ideal for this, but the $$$$$$ yells otherwise (We need both of those 100MHz channels, rather than 100 3G channels).

Of course mm Waves bounce off stuff like crazy, they don't pass through. More expensive idiot technology brought about by the One-World Order and rammed down our collective throats.

Don't put your hand over that mm Wave antenna

Apple has numerous patents for multiple antenna arrays
For example...
