Never really noticed it but good to know. I usually just drag one into the browsers window when manually installing.

If you want to stream Youtube videos only, actual you need no separately browser.
SMtube is able to do this.
Launch SMtube click "View" and select "Toolbar".
Now SMtube will show you an address bar. Type youtube.com or what ever you want ...
Right-Click at the picture of the desired video and select the player you want to use.

What's the different of this method ?
Less CPU load in comparison to usage of Firefox ......
You can use an external player with hardware decoding
ability to play all thinkable video formats

in the post above you can see two windows.
The left window is SMplayer and the right one is SMtube.

SMtube is a kind of browser where you can search and select videos.
For playback you can use different players, SMplayer is my favorite.
But it's no problem to use MPV or VLC for playback instead.
As I mentioned above the advantage is ( hardware and driver dependent ) the hardwaredecoding
In a webbrowser I've never managed to get hardwaredecoding to work
