Putty on Xnialpup64 7.5

Hello, everyone.
I installed Putty from PPM on release 0.67-2.
From terminal I launch it to use Telnet to the chosen IP address.
Unfortunately Putty opens his terminal but does not make me appear the Login and after some time the message of the time out comes out.
Can someone suggest a way to solve the problem?
