Do two HDDs act as one or separately? [SOLVED]
Posted: Wed 28 Nov 2018, 22:45
Hello Puppy Hardware Geeks,
I'm working with Mike Walsh and Mikeslr in this thread: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 56#1011556
I have a concern about hard drives wearing out.
The machine I'm referencing has two HDDs.
I know little of hardware architecture.
Because the machine has two HDDs does this indicate that if one HDD goes down the other HDD still functions?
Does this machine have an eight-chambered Klingon heart? So that, revitalization is possible?
Here are specs taken from Pup-sysinfo about the machine in question:
Thank you for any answer in layperson's terms, like 'yes' or 'no'.
