Sure you didn't leave a space behind the checksum when you copied it into your checksum utility , or accidentally include the "xenialpup-7.5-uefi.iso" at the end?
If not, unfortunately bad downloads
do sometimes happen; try to download the ISO again?

I just confirmed: the links for both the 7.5 iso and the 7.5b iso are bad, just 2.8KB. The devx SFS and the logo PNG download just fine, but both ISO links are crap.

I warned you about the problem. I took the 64-bit ISO myself, he's okay.

I am facing the same issue and it seems unlikely to be due to a bad download.
I have downloaded the XenialPup 7.5 32bit five times now and the checksum is always the same and it never matches the one in the checksum file.
I may be wrong, but I think getting the same bad download five times in a row is a pretty good hint that there's a problem with the source (or with the checksum file provided).
I got the md5sum:
86eb92955c7bacafeba9d91a3de5abb2
and the sha256sum:
075279458e701fc8ca1b405c51a09680f98ffaf1f0849983648e457381f02608
Also, the "Main Download" link to the XenialPup 7.5 32bit iso leads to a 404 page. (This may not be the best download source, but it's listed as "Main" in the download page, so it should work.)
The checksums for the XenialPup64 7.5 iso all match the ones provided in the corresponding checksum files.

yes there's a weird issue on ibiblio and i have asked about on ibiblios forum but i've had no reply yet.
the issue happened when uploading a new 32bit iso with the missing atheros kernel drivers included. that may explain your different md5s.
i may have to create a new folder in the directory, upload the iso to there and see if that fixes it

this is now fixed ... the iso on ibiblio had the wrong permissions

Don't be so sure it's fixed.
I have been trying and trying to get that ISO to work, and have failed every time.

I just reported my own test in the thread olddog cites. I had no problem running that ISO when burned to CD. From the resulting LiveCD session I installed to a flash drive, and that boots just fine too.

So ask OD, "how" and with "which OS" are you downloading the ISO?
If Windows, try another browser. If Linux, grab it with wget.
PS - Is your stick a DataTraveler? Some cheapo?

Both.
And more than one stick. Some expensive, some cheap. All work with other ISOs.
I will try again when I have some time. Thank you for our efforts to help.
