tahr-nicOS

I'm releasing a hybrid Precise/Tahr puplet called tahr-nicOS. The core system is small and consists mainly of all the programmes of the official Precise 571 distribution (apart from the old browser) and the firmware/kernel modules of Tahr 605. Additional functionality is provided by way of additional sfs modules. This puplet should run well on old as well as newer machines.
UPDATE:
I've updated the base sfs (91 MB) which replaces the base sfs, adrv and ydrv that are included in the iso. Fixed the savefile problems, added new audio and video codecs, some GTK3 improvements, etc. Download link: https://mega.nz/#!4boU0SpR!iWkEIevWgpgm ... Ew7zfhdwrI
This base sfs and the zdrv makes the core system.
The optional, extra sfs's included in the iso are:
JavaWine (69 MB): Older versions of JRE and Wine, some useful Windows programmes, an emulator to run Opera Mini (the browser included), some NES games, etc. The Windows programmes can be accessed via the utility menu (Wine Progs) and Opera Mini Browser can be activated by clicking the browse icon on desktop.
Seamonkey 2.48 (46 MB): Works OOTB. The executable to run the browser is in the /seamonkey folder. Note that the very latest Seamonkey version requires GTK 3 but should work with the essential GTK 3 stuff included in the updated base sfs.
VLC 2.1.6 (10 MB): Non-bloated version of the media player without the Qt stuff.
JavaCalculators (0,6 MB): A set of handy financial calculators (graphical display). Run a calculator by opening the appropriate htm file via the Seamonkey "open file" menu. The calculators are in the /Java Calculators folder.

FIXES:
There's a bug when running the Windows programme 2nd Speech Center with Wine. The programme is set to convert text files to mp3. If you want to change this mode to read instead of converting, do not try to change the mode from the programmes' user interface as this will not work and probably crash the programme. Close the programme and edit the config.ini file in the /2nd Speech Center folder by changing ConvertMode=2 to ConvertMode=0 before starting the programme again. Follow the same procedure when you want to change the mode again.
BTW - When converting text to mp3, do not load a text file bigger than 45 kb (I usually use 32 kb). If you have a large text file, split it up first in increments as mentioned. A 32 kb text file converts to an mp3 file of more or less 30 minutes in length.
