No, not an install problem, ctually wondering if i would get any speed out of puppy with these specs:

HP PAVILION 4445
INTEL CELERON 366MHZ CPU
64MB SDRAM *I Would buy another 64 MB ram so actually 128 MB
4.3GB HARD DRIVE
CD-ROM DRIVE
3.5" FLOPPY DRIVE
ATI RAGE IIC VIDEO
RIPTIDE SOUND
ROCKWELL HCF MODEM
NE2000 ISA NETWORK CARD

So the only thing wrong is HDD space but of course Puppy is so small and I won't need huge programs/files on my HDD so I think it will be okay.

The riptide sound might not work in Puppy. Depends if the HCF/HSF modem drivers include the drivers to make the sound work. (The riptide sound is part of the HCF or HSF modem card I think.) Sound cards that will work in Puppy can be had for less than $15, but since the riptide sound card put out a fair amount of power the speakers didn't need amplication, so you'll also have to get amplified speakers unless you use your hi-fi system or otherwise amplify the output of the sound card.

Other than the stupid one-of-a-kind combo modem/soundcard, Puppy works fine on my 5-year-old H-P Pavilion 8776c.

If you have this machine have you run the live CD to see if Puppy will run on it.
