Pithos installed from package manger doesn't work in Puppy 8

I downloaded pithos with the package manager on a new install of puppy 8. When I select it to run nothing happens. Any ideas?
What do you want to do with it? I suggest looking for alternative programs.
BionicPup 8.0 32bit
Around 75MB of dependencies, gstreamer, python3 and loads more.
Install via PPM after updating database
Make a symlink to /usr/bin/python3.6 named /usr/bin/python3
It launches but still gives errors and has missing icons (gnome theme).
