Good day!
Bionicpup64 8.0 installed.
I have found weird bug in DeaDBeeF. When you run it, make main window smaller and launch equalizer. The slider will appear and starts flicker. You may say, so what, why bug is weird? That is because when slider starts flicker, the entire OS completely stops to respond to any mouse or keyboard input commands, making your PC irresponsible. The only exit is press Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and reboot PC. Or by pressing Reset button on PC case.
Please watch video.

I was not able to produce a problem with the equalizer, HOWEVER if I mess about with the main window size making it smaller and then try to input a stream URL the thing starts to flicker and everything becomes unresponsive pretty much as reported above.
Now this DeaDBeeF 0.7.2 is quite an old version. I know Phil did mention that he had compiled version 1.8.0 but I don't know if he published it or uploaded it to a repo anywhere. Anyway I compiled latest release 1.8.2 which maybe fixes the issue but I am not sure. I have uploaded the .pet which you should be able to install over the top in BionicPup64 in case anyone wishes to TEST it.

OscarTalks thanks for this pet!
Note:
When you install this Deadbeef pet
Make sure to save.
Use menu-> exit->Rebuild menu (may not need this)
Or do a reboot.
This is required, because Bionicpup64 8.0 has Deadbeef as a builtin program.
So, the new installed Deadbeef, overwrites the builtin Deadbeef, by loading the save.

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
