Your point being... ? I am not Jewish, but I find that picture highly offensive
in the present context.
That is the point!
They want a phone app to be used to track the movement of people.

What do you think that patch was used for?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.

And the other three articles, fake news, too?
Did I say anything about them?

By your posted articles.
The problem was quickly corrected 2 days latter.

The order to stop all shipments is the kind of order you act on completely at time given.
Than you adjust, after you evaluate what you have actually done.
2 days is a quick adjustment.

All Countries are learning that some stuff, just always needs to be manufactured and supplied, in country only.

I guess no problem for China.
They make everything, for everybody.

What do you think that patch was used for?
Racial discrimination.

But thanks for the clarification.

As I said before, I don't think such an app is the way to go,
or even possible.

but the reason is "more diplomatic"
Totally Agree. "Congestion on-the-ground" was the best word Trudeau can use.

"Congestion in-the-air" would show stupidity... , couldn't be justified by the negative US$ 37 per barrel crude oil price and aircraft sunbathing at all the airports.

Secondly, if he use something like "PPE hoarding"..., some more Canadians may soon be jailed in China prisons.

So Trump won't send in the Marines to shut Canadians up.
seems Canadians were shut up by those behind the Princess of Huawei ...

Hello hatemonday.

I don't think the diplomatic push-and-pull around Meng Wanzhou (Huawei executive) affair
in Vancouver has anything to do with the COVID-19 PPE skirmishes.

The Chinese import lots of food from us (pork, beef. wheat). Just as US company 3M uses
tree pulp from Vancouver Island to make protective medical masks in their Minnesota plant.

Neither the Chinese nor the Americans are stupid. They know that if push comes to shove,
Canada will apply pressure too, as a provider -- or not -- of needed raw materials.

BFN.

This should never have happened in the first place between allied countries. No ifs, or ands,
or buts. Who knows how many of our medical personnel and patients got infected during
those two days.

You'll soon find out that they will do virtually everything they can to rescue the Princess ...

Even though you finally got the PPE, it may be a substandard one ...

the api is now called "Exposure Notification", and will be released tomorrow ahead of schedule

google/apple intends to distribute the api and enable developers to create the app
Who will create the apps and where do I find them?

Public health authorities will update or create apps which users may install if they choose to participate. Google and Apple will make available, as normal, the public health authority apps for each region in the Play Store and App Store.

Will governments have access to the information facilitated by
this technology?

Access to the technology will be granted only to public health authorities. Their apps must meet specific criteria around privacy, security, and data control. The public health authority app will be able to access a list of beacons provided by users confirmed as positive for COVID-19 who have opted in to sharing them. The system was also designed so that Apple and Google do not have access to information related to any specific individual.
