RTL8192cu module switches off when idle

does not disconnect, but no traffic possible without restarting internet after brief idle time.

Try this - pings google every 30 sec.
Install by clicking on it in ROXFiler, then restart X.

No, still too long and going off.is there a config file to edit.

Remove the one provided by ozsouth and try the one here.

While slightly different, I'm unsure as to their difference in functionality.

What exact Puppy version you using?

This was a problem in the old days of Puppy.

I have not had this problem for many years.

Maybe you have uncovered a bug, that got back into Puppy.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected :shock:
