Connect to wi-fi using ethernet port, and a small device

I sometimes find myself working on a compuer that usually connects to the network via ethernet, but now is in a place with no ethernet available,
but where there is wi-fi.

The usual solution would be to plugin a usb wi-fi adapter.
But with many of the recent usb wi-fi adapters I have tried, I very frequently have much difficulty getting them to work with Puppy.

So, I've been looking for something I can just plug into the ethernet port, since I haven't had the same difficulties with getting that to work on Puppy.

I've found a small device that will do exactly that, it's a "Wireless Travel Router" that has a "Client Mode" to "Allow devices that require a wired connection to access an existing Wi-Fi network".
I bought one and configured it to access my local wi-fi network.
Now I just have to turn it on and I have "ethernet" anywhere in the house.
Please excuse the ad, it's a "TL-WR902AC".

While there are many wi-fi routers on the market, I found very few that do a simple "Client Mode".
