I downloaded the Sunbird Calendar from the Mozilla website and installed with no problems. It runs just fine in Puppy. Even put the icon on the desktop!
I think I will go find a good Project Manager and give that a go! :D

...icon on the desktop! ...no kidding?!

That's great, if it installs that easily, what's the point of making up a PupGet or DotPup? ...except that it'll get kicked out when upgrade to next version of Puppy, unless it only installs into /root.

...just write a short not in the Solutions section on this Forum on where to download from, etc.

Barry, I don't know if this is the correct way but it worked for me.

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calenda ... nload.html

On this page I chose the GTK1 version and downloaded it.
TKZIP opened up and I extracted it to the /TMP folder.
Using Rox, I moved the Sunbird folder that was in /TMP and moved it to /ROOT.
Opened the Sunbird folder in /ROOT and dragged the Sunbird Executable to the desktop.
Like I said, this probably isn't the right way to do it but it works. I am using Puppy 1.0.3 from CD and Sunbird is in /root so its always there.
It was so easy I'll just do it again when 1.0.4 comes out if I need to.
It is a little over 8mb, but I really needed this calendar.

...oh, I see, you put the icon on the desktop. Ok.

That's very simple to install.

Also, if you upgrade to Thunderbird 2-something, you can download an xpi that is called Lightning, which basically seems to plug Sunbird into Thunderbird. I love it! Both e-mail and calendar all in one place!
