QEMU-Puppy 2.01-3

#1 Post by Erik Veenstra »

I've uploaded QEMU-Puppy 2.01-3.

QEMU-Puppy is an OS and a set of applications on a USB memory
stick. This OS can be booted natively, or on top of an other,
already installed, OS. Just borrow a PC, boot your own
environment and return the PC unaffected.

"No installation, no garbage..."

For more information and download, see:

(Please use the torrent and keep seeding it for a while.
Thanks.)

gegroet,
Erik V. - http://www.erikveen.dds.nl/

MAJOR CHANGES

* It now uses QEMU 0.8.2 instead of QEMU 0.7.2.

* It's able to use KQEMU 1.3.0pre9. That's really fast!
(Install it yourself, as described in section 3.2.)

No Sound after Upgrade!

 I couldn't get sound working after upgrade I installed kqemu I didn't try without kqemu.
Alsa couldn't find a compatible sound device. Sound blaster 16 worked on the r-2 version in 3 or 4 other machines fine.
Do I need to pass something to qemu?
