Though I couldn't boot 1.0.4 I upgraded via 1.0.3 hd-install. The network didn't work. I tried all the realtek modules. My card is realtek 8139. None worked.
Gone back to 1.0.3. everything ok
Problem with realtek 8139 in 1.0.4
